Thank you, Olympia!

What an amazing first week at our new location!  Thank you so much to all of the locals in the Olympia area who came out to celebrate with us and check out our new space.

We had a little party the night before our official grand opening with friends, family and other local business owners on our block to usher in the new era of Velvet & Shag.  And true to form, I was extremely terrible at taking photos to document this special time!  Why am I like this? 😁 Luckily, some of my other, smarter friends and family got some shots.  Scroll down to see a few!

These are MY BOYS, my step son Tre on the left and husband, Neil, on the right.  I would absolutely not be able to do this business without them!  They of course helped me set up and decorate the new shop.  Many rugs were moved!  Neil was also extremely instrumental in the design of the space.  They were both sweet enough to don their official V&S shirts for our party and handed out bubbles and treats to our special guests.  I love you guys so much!

My friend, Katie of @kdlane , brought her lovely family to the party.  Katie was my former Studio 101 shopmate and I miss seeing her smiling face and feeling her positive vibes everyday.

My sweet friend, Marissa, came to the grand opening and even brought her cutie pup, Maggie.  Look how happy Maggie is in the new shop!

We wouldn't even be here in the loft of the gorgeous Ossa Skinworks if it weren't for beautiful Monique Ossa.  We are both extremely grateful for all of you supporting us during our first week working together and look forward to many more visits spent with our friends, both old and new.
